Jason Rueth: Certified Professional Dog Trainer
Jason Rueth is a highly skilled and experienced dog trainer with a passion for helping dogs and their owners build strong, lasting bonds. A graduate of the prestigious Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers, Jason earned top honors in narcotics, obedience, and agility training in 2008.
With a straightforward, easy-to-understand approach, Jason specializes in teaching clear communication methods that empower both dogs and their handlers. He takes the time to get to know each canine student’s unique personality and the lifestyle of their human companions, ensuring personalized training solutions that create harmony in their lives.
Jason’s career has taken him across the globe, training dogs for police, military, and bomb detection purposes. His international experience has honed his exceptional ability to read and explain canine behavior, making him a sought-after expert in the field.
Though his travels have taken him far and wide, Montana has always held a special place in Jason’s heart. Fond childhood memories of visiting family in the state eventually led him to call it home. When he’s not training, Jason enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his wife, stepson, and their beloved pack of dogs.
With a blend of expertise, compassion, and dedication, Jason Rueth is committed to helping clients achieve their training goals while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for their canine companions.
Laura Rueth: Business Manager and Co-Founder of Tally-Ho K9
Laura Rueth is a lifelong learner with a passion for new experiences and challenges. With professional backgrounds as a licensed aesthetician and dental hygienist, Laura’s career took an exciting turn when she married Jason in 2017. Recognizing Jason’s remarkable talent and vision for dog training, Laura stepped into a new role as his business partner and manager, despite having no prior experience in entrepreneurship.
Together, they launched Tally-Ho K9, a business born out of love and dedication to dogs and their owners. For Laura, it has been an incredible journey of growth, discovery, and community-building. Running the business has given her the opportunity to make hundreds of new four-legged friends and connect with their amazing owners, creating relationships she cherishes deeply.
Beyond her work at Tally-Ho K9, Laura finds joy in caring for her own pack of dogs and contributing to a thriving, supportive community. Building a business that clients can trust and rely on has been one of her proudest accomplishments. For Laura, life at Tally-Ho K9 is more than just work—it’s a reflection of her commitment to learning, growing, and creating something meaningful for everyone involved.
